Speakeasies in Orlando’s Tourism District
Orlando’s main tourism districts feature several speakeasies, and they all have unique themes to keep you coming back for more.
Jewel Orlando
New to our International Drive Entertainment District, Jewel Orlando is a speakeasy that mixes live dueling piano entertainment with handcrafted cocktails and small bites. They also have classic casino games, with all proceeds going to rotating charities and guests trading their “winnings” for prizes. The venue’s pianists team with singing acts to perform a wide range of musical genres. Audience participation is encouraged, so request your favorite tunes and join the fun.

Propag8
Located in Windermere, close to Universal Orlando Resort, Propag8 bills itself as a place for cocktail lovers with a green thumb. Once you arrive, you’ll understand why: The venue is filled with live plants grown in-house, with many providing ingredients for the venue’s visually stunning creations. Mid-century modern furniture and intricate lighting completes the scene for this very modern take on a speakeasy. You’ll need a password to get in — follow Propag8 on Instagram (@propag8_windermere) to find it ahead of your visit.
Vault 5421
One of Orlando’s coolest comic books, gaming and collectibles shops, Gods & Monsters has a secret — and it’s called Vault 5421. Sporting a name that pays homage to the popular Fallout video game series, this fuel station offers a 100-plus bottle selection of craft beer, cider, mead, wine and even sake, as well as rotating seasonal selections of themed saketinis, mixed drinks and shots. It also has free-to-play retro video games. Gods & Monsters and Vault 5421 are part of the International Drive Entertainment District, minutes from Universal Orlando Resort.
Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar & Restaurant
Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar & Restaurant at Disney Springs® isn’t a particularly secretive speakeasy, but the cocktails and ambiance are authentic. After entering through the well-marked tunnel entrance, you’ll arrive at an underground lounge that specializes in Prohibition-era and barrel-aged cocktails. Italian-inspired entrees, pasta dishes, and imported meats and cheeses are on the menu, too. Another tunnel passage will take you upstairs to The Edison, which also serves craft cocktails and looks as if it were built in a former power plant. Disney Springs is part of Walt Disney World® Resort.

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto
A tropical tiki bar with a speakeasy feel, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is tucked away inside Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World. Serving cocktails and food in a South Seas atmosphere, this popular spot tends to fill up fast, so arrive early if you want to avoid a wait. You might even be one of the lucky ones to score a Black Pearl! The rare souvenir tiki cup comes with just one out of every 100 Polynesian Pearl cocktails served … but rumor has it that being nice to the giant Polynesian clam known as Shelly can improve your odds.
Speakeasies in Downtown Orlando & Beyond
Speakeasy fans won’t want to miss a trip to downtown Orlando, which is just 20 minutes from our main tourism districts and boasts more speakeasies than any other local area. More options await in nearby Winter Park and beyond.

The Courtesy Bar
After making a name for itself in downtown Orlando, The Courtesy Bar set up shop at a new home in nearby Winter Park, where the atmosphere and cocktail wizardry remain the same. Here, The Courtesy plans to evolve but remain steadfast in its mission: “The Pleasure is Ours, The Courtesy is Yours.”

The BANDBOX
New to Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village Main Street district, just north of downtown, The BANDBOX is Orlando’s first spirit-free speakeasy. In addition to non-alcoholic craft cocktails, the art deco-inspired tasting lounge and bottle shop serves aperitifs, beer and wine for teetotalers, as well as elixirs, bitters, tonics, leisure sodas, shrubs, CBD sodas and sparking water, and vintage fizzy pop.

Mathers Social Gathering
Featuring dapperly dressed bartenders, this stylish hideaway can be found on the third floor of a historic furniture store in downtown Orlando. Cocktails are made with boutique spirits, seasonal fruit, and house-made bitters, cordials and syrups. Small plates are also available. But proper attire is required at Mathers Social Gathering: No shorts, flip flops or ball caps will make it past the doorman.
The Imperial Wine & Beer Garden
Also part of Ivanhoe Village, Washburn Imports is an upscale furniture store by day. At night, it transforms into The Imperial Wine & Beer Garden, a refined watering hole featuring a wide range of craft beers, wine and gourmet food. Both businesses have a second location in Sanford, about 30 minutes north of downtown, and a standalone Imperial Wine Bar (without Washburn Imports) can be found in Winter Park.
Hanson’s Shoe Repair
You have to know the password to enter this rooftop speakeasy in downtown Orlando, but getting it is a snap: Just follow them on Twitter, or call or text 407-476-9446. Their home, The Hanson Building, was built in the 1880s, so you can take in some history and authentic speakeasy cocktails simultaneously.
The Treehouse
Look for the green door with the T-shaped handle to enter this venue, which describes itself as the sort of secret club you might have belonged to as a kid combined with the best in adult beverages. The Treehouse is located in downtown Orlando.
