Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park

Tackle a massive, 425-foot zip line at Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park, located in a natural pine forest about 15 minutes south of Walt Disney World® Resort. And the zip line isn’t the only thrill waiting for you: Adults can look forward to four progressively difficult, tree-top obstacle courses with 97 aerial challenges, while kids ages 7 and up can try two courses with 21 different challenges!

Obstacles include 50-foot ladders, hanging nets, wobbly bridges, swinging logs and even suspended skateboards, among other surprises. You’ll also receive pre-climbing safety instructions and access to a guided practice course before you start, all complemented by a 3,000-square-foot Welcome Center and picnic area.

Screamin’ Gator Zip Line at Gatorland

Available as an add-on to regular admission at Gatorland, the Screamin’ Gator Zip Line will take you on a 1,700-foot adventure over the park’s stars … in other words, live alligators and crocodiles! The course is aided by zip-line towers standing more than 7 stories tall, complete with multilevel launch pads that provide breathtaking views from high above the ground.

If you have the guts to tackle this course, you’ll launch from heights up to 65 feet and reach speeds up to 30 mph on five intense zip lines, which range from 230 to more than 500 feet. You’ll also need to navigate a swinging bridge over the park’s main walkway. Helmet, gloves and a harness are provided, so just bring your thirst for adventure! Gatorland is about 20 minutes from Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld® Orlando.

Seminole Aerial Adventures at Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens

In addition to hosting more than 500 animals and 23 acres of native gardens, Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is home to Seminole Aerial Adventures, a separately ticketed experience with three courses to master. You’ll find them in Sanford, about 35 minutes north of downtown Orlando.

Guests who are at least 54 inches tall can choose from two courses. First, the Upland Course features 15 elements and seven zip lines, taking about 90 minutes to complete. If that’s not challenging enough, opt for the Rainforest Course, which boasts 33 elements and 13 zip lines with an approximate completion time of two and a half hours. Children who are at least 5 years old and 36 inches tall can also join the fun courtesy of the 45-minute Kids’ Course, which has 22 elements, two zip lines and a sky swing.

Located about an hour from downtown Orlando on Florida’s east coast, Brevard Zoo in Melbourne has plenty of wild times in store — including thrills at Treetop Trek Aerial Adventures! Providing unique views of the zoo’s animal exhibits, the separately ticketed experience features four zip-line and obstacle courses for adults and one for children.

Adults can choose from Beginner (21 elements and two zip lines), Intermediate (30 elements and 11 zip lines) and Expert (41 elements and 14 zip lines) courses, as well as a Zip Only option with nine zip lines. On the Li’l Trekkers course, children who are at least 4 years old and 36 inches tall can enjoy 22 elements and two zip lines, with a chaperone required for kids ages 12 and under.

Suspended above the venue’s full-featured arcade, Andretti’s Sky Trail Ropes Course is the first in Florida to feature a curved zip line, which is complemented by bridges, floating steps, cables and ropes. Guests who are at least 8 years old and 48 inches tall can choose from Beginner and Advanced options, each of which take about 10 minutes to complete.

Billed as “an indoor amusement park for the mind,” WonderWorks features more than 100 hands-on exhibits for all ages … and it’s also one of the only places with an indoor ropes course in the Orlando area! Included with regular admission, the 3-story adventure will take you to a height of 36 feet with more than 20 glow-in-the-dark obstacles, including suspension bridges, swinging beams, lily pads and more.
