Located at Universal Studios Florida at Universal Orlando Resort, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is the smallest attraction on this list in terms of height, but it delivers some of the biggest thrills — including speeds that reach 65 mph! It also offers a high-tech twist in that you get to choose the song you’ll be listening to as your roar along the track. Just be sure to watch that first drop!

Restrictions: Guests must be at least 51 inches.

Part of Disney’s EPCOT® since day one, the famous geosphere known as Spaceship Earth houses the ride of the same name, presenting an engaging journey through the history of communications.

Found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, this attraction starts with a visit to a remote Tibetan village at the base of Mount Everest. After boarding a train, you’ll careen along twisting tracks and plunge into total darkness as you rush to escape the mountain … and the clutches of the legendary Yeti!

Restrictions: Guests must be at least 44 inches.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror has been terrifying visitors to Disney’s Hollywood Studios® since 1994. Hosted by The Twilight Zone’s legendary creator, Rod Serling, it features a fright-filled ride aboard a rickety, elevator-style lift that doesn’t just take you to the top — with a drop or two — but all the way to the 5th Dimension!

Restrictions: Guests must be at least 40 inches.

Mako at SeaWorld® Orlando (200 Feet)

Orlando’s tallest roller coaster is also its longest and fastest: Mako at SeaWorld Orlando! Named after one of the swiftest sharks on the planet, Mako boasts high speeds, deep dives and a new thrill around every turn. And with a top speed of 73 mph, it’s one of the few Orlando attractions that could get you a speeding ticket!

Restrictions: Guests must be at least 54 inches.

SkyCoaster at Fun Spot America (250 & 300 Feet)

Family-owned and operated, Fun Spot America has two locations: one on International Drive in Orlando and a second in Kissimmee, close to Walt Disney World. Both amusement parks offer this unique attraction, which invites you and up to two other people to enjoy a tandem bungee-jumping, skydiving-esque experience. The only difference is height, with Orlando reaching 250 feet and Kissimmee going 300 feet in the air!

Restrictions: Guests must be at least 42 inches (both locations).

Sky Tower at SeaWorld Orlando (400 Feet)

As one of SeaWorld Orlando’s original attractions, the iconic Sky Tower has been entertaining visitors and locals alike for more than 45 years. You won’t find white-knuckle thrills on this retro-cool experience, but the relaxing ride to the summit and ensuing bird’s-eye view of Orlando is a great way to rest and recharge before diving back into everything else SeaWorld has to offer.

The Wheel at ICON Park® (400 Feet)

Although its name has changed since its 2015 debut, The Wheel at ICON Park continues to be one of Orlando’s signature experiences. Its roomy, climate-controlled capsules offer a leisurely trip to 400 feet, where you can see sights as far away as downtown Orlando and the theme parks. Private party options are also available. Featuring additional attractions, dining, nightlife and shopping, ICON Park is located on International Drive.

Orlando StarFlyer (450 Feet)

Orlando’s reigning king of tall attractions opened in 2018, towering an additional 50 feet over The Wheel, which is next to it at ICON Park. Climb aboard one of the Orlando StarFlyer’s two-person swing seats and you’ll be taken on a 360-degree spin that reaches speeds up to 60 mph, all at a height of 425 feet. It’s an unbeatable sight — assuming you’re courageous enough to uncover your eyes, that is!
