  • Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining returns Aug. 18 through Oct. 1, with more than 118 of Orlando’s best restaurants serving up three-course prix-fixe menus for either $40 or $60, as part of a new tiered menu system. With the new tiered concept, one dollar from each $40 meal and two dollars from each $60 meal will be donated to this year’s charity recipient, The Lifeboat Project, an organization raising awareness on the issue of human trafficking.     • Beer and wine enthusiasts will find joy in Orlando's brewery and winery scene. Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. in Ivanhoe Village, Motorworks Brewing in downtown Orlando, Park Pizza and Brewing Co. in Lake Nona, and Crooked Can Brewing Company in Winter Garden are just a few destinations offering unique craft beer experiences. Wine lovers can sip boutique wines and craft beers at The Imperial in Ivanhoe Village or visit Quantum Leap Winery and Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards for tastings and tours.

  • Ranked by WalletHub as one of the country's best cities for soccer fans, Orlando has plenty to cheer about with Major League Soccer’s (MLS’) Orlando City Soccer Club and the National Women’s Soccer League’s (NWSL’s) Orlando Pride — including Orlando City’s first match against international soccer star Lionel Messi when they take on Inter Miami CF on Sept. 24. We’re headed into extra time this summer by hosting Fulham FC vs. Aston Villa FC as part of the Premier League Summer Series on July 26, and Juventus vs. Real Madrid in the Soccer Champions Tour on Aug. 2.   • SeaWorld Orlando opened its all-new Coral Rescue Center to park guests. The center provides an important way to view living corals up close, learn more about conservation and understand the steps everyone can take to make a difference in ocean health.  

  • Escapology Orlando opened a new location at the Promenade at Sunset Walk. The attraction features immersive escape games including Batman: The Dark Knight Challenge, Scooby-Doo and the Spooky Castle Adventure, A Pirate’s Curse and Who Stole Mona? 

  • Schmankerl Stub’n, a new German restaurant, will open in downtown Orlando. The German Scratch Kitchen will feature German classics and modern dishes. 

  • A new Walt Disney World Resort nighttime holiday party, Jollywood Nights, will debut this year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The separately ticketed event, happening select nights Nov. 11 - Dec. 20, will feature sparkling décor, modern beats derived from holiday classics, craft cocktails, decadent dishes and the return of the nighttime fireworks spectacular, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!.
